Representative Matters

  • Michael Goldberg is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Valuation Analyst. He frequently is asked to value non-public companies including personal goodwill. He has been admitted as an expert in the area of valuation multiple times and below is an excerpt from a recent case.

    “For the reasons noted in Mr. Goldberg’s report, the Court agrees with Mr. Goldberg’s assessment of the business’s value and Father’s personal goodwill discount.” Memorandum Opinion and Order issued May 9, 2024 in Kennedy v. Kennedy, Case No. C-13-FM-21-001709 in the Circuit Court for Howard County, Maryland.

  • Goldberg Tax Law is frequently asked to provide forensic analyses to identify and trace undisclosed income and assets, including dissipated assets. Additionally, we have experience with cryptocurrency and other digital asset investigations. In Maryland, Michael Goldberg has extensive experience tracing non-marital assets including real estate interests.
