Avi Kafka is passionate about helping clients navigate tax challenges and achieve financial peace of mind. He focuses on tax controversy, compliance, and strategic planning for individuals and businesses.
Avi represents clients with a wide range of tax issues, from negotiating with the IRS to solving corporate structure issues. He has successfully assisted clients in negotiating tax settlements, structuring businesses, and appealing assessments. Prior to Goldberg Tax Law, LLC, Avi has prior experience in estate planning, real estate transactions, financial analysis, and litigation, giving him a well-rounded perspective on tax law.
Avi earned his Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Journal of Conflict Resolution and was a research assistant to tax law scholar Professor Zelinsky. He also served as Treasurer of the Tax Law Society.
